Our family of four came all at once and started with 30 mins massage. Everyone was incredibly kind, gentle, and professional. The masseuses were very competent and adjusted the pressure to each individual comfort level. The atmosphere, the sounds, smells, the oil was very serene. Dad and I added another 30 mins and I was so relaxed I fell asleep and woke up feeling like I had a whole nights sleep. They did our whole bodies, I didn’t get my legs tho cus I didn’t take my pants off which I should have.

Went for a couples massage today and we chose the package with the double facial, hot stones massage, and reflexology (which we swapped out for a body scrub). It was one of, if not the best spa treatment I’ve had to date! The treatments took around 2 hours and I left feeling wildly sedated in the best of ways. Everyone was so kind and ensured we were comfortable every step of the way. Thank you so much!!

My hostel has the worst bed I’ve ever slept in and went to Luz de Luna tonight for a massage. The owner Jorge, is so welcoming and inviting. I live in Asia so I’m used to tiny women hurting me to feel relief and I wasn’t sure how this would measure up, but I had an excellent and relaxing massage at Luz de Luna which has really helped my aches and pains. The prices were very reasonable and they have daily specials and package deals, and my message came with a facial which did not irritate my dry and highly sensitive skin.

It can be a bit difficult to find, but worth it. it was a 2 minute walk from my hostels and you have to go up some stairs, but after my massage tonight I’ve already recommended it to everyone who isn’t sleeping well at my hostel.

Hands down the BEST massage I’ve had in years, even in the US states. There was no waiting – my husband and I showed up, picked from the massage menu and we were on the table in minutes. The masseuse’ had excellent technique, working out all the lumps and bumps from our whitewater rafting trip the day before. I am really picky and get massages often – for me to recommend so highly is rare. The cost was so reasonable compared to what we pay at home AND compared to what we just paid two days prior for massages at our Airbnb (whose massages were just not good). Thank you Spa Luz de Luna for ensuring we didn’t leave Costa Rica without a top notch massage. We’ll be back!

Mi marido y yo reservamos masajes de última hora aquí sin saber qué esperar. Él recibió un masaje terapéutico y yo un masaje sueco. Ambos fueron EXCEPCIONALES. El personal era amable y atento (mi masajista se llamaba Giselle, no estoy segura de la ortografía, y fue muy dulce). ¡Incluso nos dieron tratamientos faciales gratis que fueron fantásticos! Ambos disfrutamos inmensamente de nuestra experiencia y definitivamente regresaremos cuando estemos en La Fortuna.

I was able to walk in, no appointment. The room is clean and simple and the price is super good, especially considering how good the massage itself was.

It’s an funny location, the second floor and a little back from the street but don’t let that stop you, this is a great spot.

I’m still floating on a cloud after my experience this morning. My partner got a 2 hr massage while I got their website’s special number 19 which includes aromatherapy, sangria, a body scrub, a chocolate body wrap, a relaxing massage and a revitalizing facial. Crazy recommendation for the Luna Spa! I will note that the place opened two months ago and is in its infancy. We came here after recommendations from friends and enjoyed every second. The masseurs are professional and have done magic with every muscle. Because it was so amazing, we fell asleep several times during the massage. In one word – wow!

I came in yesterday for a 1 hour massage and ended up selecting a 1,5h massage + free facial. It was awesome! I strongly recommend this place and I am going back tomorrow for another massage
